Choose assembly

Indicate in the shopping basket whether or not you want to make use of our assembly service. If you do choose this, we assemble the bicycle and set it up.

What does the assembly involve?

 Mounting of the front wheel.
 All bolts and nuts are checked and adjusted if necessary.
 The rotating parts are lubricated.
 The chain is tensioned.
 The gears and brakes are adjusted.
 The wheels are checked.
   With pedelecs we also program the controls. For safety reasons, we do not fully charge the battery. We   recommend always choosing our assembly service for pedelecs.

We pack bicycles in sturdy boxes so that nothing gets damaged in transit. On delivery, the handlebars are turned sideways on, and the pedals are not yet fitted. Otherwise the bicycle will not fit into the box. We will email a set-up guide where we explain step by step how to set up the handlebars and pedals on the bicycle yourself.

Please note: due to bicycle size, ordering and delivery of ready-assembled delivery bicycles, adult three-wheelers and tandems is only available in the Netherlands and Belgium. We deliver to the specified address using our own transport. We will contact you once you have ordered the bicycle. We will arrange a suitable day with you for delivering the bicycle.

If you have a complaint about your order, you can submit it as follows.

  1. Send an e-mail to [email protected]. Describe the problem as clearly as possible and possibly add one or more photos. Also include a copy of your invoice or warranty certificate.
  2. You will receive a reply from us within one working day at the latest, often faster than expected.
  3. The European Commission offers a platform for online dispute resolution for consumers, which you can find at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We do not participate in this and cannot resolve disputes through this platform. We prefer to be in personal contact with you.

We understand very well that after receiving your order you want to have a good look at the products, and in case of a beautiful bike you also want to feel what the bike is like. That is why we use a cooling-off period of 30 days after receipt of your purchase.

Not happy with your purchase? Is the size or colour not correct? Don't worry, you can still return your item and even your bike within 30 days of receiving all your products. After receipt you have 30 days to return your purchases. So feel free to view the product as you would in the shop. Example: take the bike out of the packaging and look at it from all sides. We would like to emphasize that the current 30-day trial period is clearly not a period of use during which you can use the product extensively before revocation.

Internetbikes always has at least 10,000 bikes in stock and together withInternet-Toys, Internet-Sportclubs, Internet-Sport&Casuals, Internet-Automotive, Internet-Eyewear and Internet-Bookshops, we have over 350,000 related items in stock, and 99 % of the time we can deliver directly from stock. In the unlikely event that a product is not in stock, your order will be sent without the product which is not in stock. After receiving and checking your order, report any articles that you have not received to T.O.M. bv. You will receive the amount of the relevant shortages item back through the way in which you have paid them to us.. Delivery shortages are not delivered at a later date.

Of course, we only use boxes that are good enough to send your order safely and securely.

If you are returning items to us, please reuse the box in which we sent your order. Also try not to use more tape than necessary.

Can my order get delayed?

Unfortunately we do suffer from the restrictions surrounding the coronavirus too. You can still order products, but it is possible that the delivery of your package is delayed. Because of the enormous demand for our products, it is very busy in our warehouses. At the same time, we put the health and safety of our staff first and adhere to the guidelines set by Dutch authorities. This means, for example, that fewer people are working at the same time and that we keep our distance from one another. We do everything we can to deliver your order as soon as possible. The tracking link that you receive once the package has been sent by us, is leading for the time of delivery.

Will my order be delivered on the day and time of my preference?

At the moment it’s very busy, which is why we can’t guarantee that DHL will deliver on the day and time of your preference. The tracking link you receive when we ship the package is leading for the time of delivery.

The order I want to place has an option for ‘final assembly’. Is this still possible?

It is still possible to order a final assembly. Keep in mind that this will take up to 3 or 4 days processing time. The tracking link you receive when we ship the package is leading for the time of delivery.

Do you have enough in stock?

We have plenty of stock! All products on our website are in stock. As soon as a product is sold out, it will automatically disappear from the site. It is possible that a product is more in demand than usual, which means that it could be sold out faster. To prevent disappointment, order on time.

How is the delivery going now?

Together with our delivery partner DHL, we adhere to the guidelines set by the authorities. This means that there is no contact between you and the courier. The parcel is placed on the ground in front of the door, the deliverer rings the doorbell and then steps back to keep a distance of 1.5 meters. Deliverers know exactly how to be hygienic. He or she then signs in your presence to note that the package is delivered.

Will you deliver my package even if I'm in quarantine?

If you're quarantined, we'll still deliver your order. The deliverer puts the parcel in front of the door, and signs (once you have opened the door) for receipt at least 1.5 meters away. This way, you will still receive your order. We wish you a speedy recovery and good health!

Can I still pick up my parcel at pickup points?

For the time being, it is still possible to pick up a parcel at a pick-up point nearby. If you can choose a DHL service point when ordering, that point will be open. If not, the service point is closed. And if, for example, your parcel is already on its way to a closed pick-up point, the deliverer will try to drop it off at another point. Everything to get your package to you as soon as possible.

Can the virus be transmitted via the package?

The chance of infection when a package is passed on is very small. To be on the safe side, we advise you to wash your hands thoroughly after accepting the package. The parcel is delivered without physical contact and at a distance of 1.5 meters. In addition, the deliverer will sign for receipt of the parcel in your presence, so that you do not come into contact with each other.

Which measurements do you take to prevent the coronavirus?

A large part of our office staff works at home (if possible). In addition, we have spread the breaks over the day, which means that fewer people work and take breaks at the same time. This makes it much easier for us to keep our distance. This way we keep our warehouse and office as hygienic as possible. There is also almost no contact between our employees and DHL's delivery staff and we keep a distance of at least 1.5 metres.

Your invoice is also your certificate of guarantee. Please keep it safe.

Because we want to keep our customers 100% satisfied, all our bicycles carry a lowest price guarantee.  Have you found the same bike at another online provider for a lower price? Then we will modify our price. You can read the conditions that apply to the lowest price guarantee below:

  1. The lowest price guarantee applies to all bikes with the lowest price guarantee logo.
  2. Le fournisseur concurrent doit proposer le produit sur Google Shopping, le vendre dans une boutique en ligne néerlandaise et être un revendeur agréé par le fournisseur.
  3. The competing provider must actually carry the bike in stock.
  4. The price is publicly advertised, namely on Google Shopping, and must be verifiable for us.
  5. The competing price must be the regular price of the bike. It cannot be a promotional price or part of a special offer.
  6. The lowest price guarantee applies at the time of purchase.
  7. The lowest price guarantee applies to the basic price of the bike excluding delivery costs or assembly costs.

Have you found the bike for sale at a lower price in another online shop? Then contact our customer service prior tou your purchase via [email protected] or through the chat option on the website. They will ensure that you can buy the bicycle at the lowest price at Internet-Bikes.

If you believe your guarantee applies for certain parts then please follow this procedure.

  1. Send the part at your expense to Internet-Bikes, Internet-Toys, Internet-Sportclubs, Internet-Sport&Casuals, Internet-Automotive, Internet-Eyewear, Internet-Bookshop, Internet-Babyshop, Internet-Outdoorshop and Internet-Home&Garden, Rootven 20, 5531 MB Bladel. Please also include a copy of your invoice and/or guarantee certificate and a written description of the complaint.
  2. We will examine the guarantee and if necessary, coordinate with the supplier.
  3. If the complaint is covered by the guarantee, then we will send you a replacement item at its own expense.
  4. After you have sent the article for which you have a guarantee to TOM B2C B.V., your claim against the guarantee will be assessed by TOM returns department. If there are grounds for your claim, TOM will send you a replacement article at no charge. In addition, the shipping costs that you incurred in returning the article to TOM, with a maximum of the original shipping costs, will be reimbursed via your bank account. You must provide your IBAN account number in your return shipment so that we can process the reimbursement.

You can unsubscribe from our newsletters at any time. Each newsletter contains a clear unsubscribe link at the bottom that you can use for this purpose.

It is very easy to order an item. If you have found a product that you would like to buy, click the adjacent button to order it.
The product will be added to your shopping trolley straight away. You will then be asked whether you want to "continue shopping" or "go to your shopping trolley". If you opt to continue shopping, you will return to the website. If you opt to go to your shopping trolley, a summary of everything you have selected will be displayed. Here you can see the product you just selected as well as the quantity, the unit price including VAT and the total price including VAT. The VAT is also indicated separately. If you have one or more bikes in your shopping trolley, you can indicate whether you would like Internet Bikes to assemble each individual bike by selecting "yes or no" in the "ASSEMBLE" dropdown box next to the product description. If you want to have another look at what you have selected, click on the item you have selected and you'll see all the product details again. It's also easy to order several products. You can also purchase different products from our different web shops at the same time. You will see that they are all placed in one shopping trolley.

Once you have filled your shopping trolley, click on pay.

Doing this will take you to "Step 1: Your details". You will need to fill in your address here. We need this information in order to draft the invoice and/or the guarantee certificate (see Customer Service - Protection of personal data for more information). After filling in your details, select "next step".

This will take you to "Step 2: Delivery method". Here you can opt for "Collection" or "Delivery" (see shipping costs ). If you select "Collection", you will receive a separate e-mail from us as soon as your delivery is ready for you to pick up at our collection centre. If you select "Delivery", a "delivery address" field will appear in which you can enter an alternative delivery address. After filling in your details, select "next step".

"Step 3: Payment method". Here you select your preferred payment method. After selecting your preferred payment method, click "next step"

"Step 4: Summary and complete transaction". On this page, a summary of the products you have ordered will be displayed. You can see all the products in your shopping trolley with the respective quantities and prices. On this page, you are also given the opportunity to place any remarks you may have next to your order. After checking the box for agreement to our general terms and conditions of delivery and customer service, click "complete order".

Depending on the payment method you selected, your order will be completed as follows:

you will be taken to the secure Ogone page where you can complete the payment step by step. After payment has been completed, you will receive confirmation by e-mail with your invoice attached in PDF format within a few minutes. If you order will be sent via DHL, you will receive a Track & Trace code by e-mail as soon as it has been dispatched. Return articles in unused condition

You have the right to cancel this contract within 30 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 30 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (TOM B2C B.V., Rootven 16, 5531MB, Bladel - Nederland, [email protected]) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 30 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 30 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Please note that the direct costs of returning your products are at your own expense. Keep in mind that these costs are approximately equal to the shipping costs. The cost depends on the weight and size of the shipment. Returning from outside of The Netherlands can be more expensive.

Returns must be delivered in a closed box. Ensure that you send the article in the original condition and if reasonably possible in the undamaged and original packaging. Put the fully completed returns form and a copy of the invoice in the box. Keep your invoice number at hand if you drop off the return shipment at one of the pick-up points above. Our service employees will ensure that your return shipment comes to our Returns Department, which will handle your return further.

Our professional service staff are happy to advise you and will carry out repairs and maintenance with the greatest care. The complete Giga Bikes Quality Check is an integral part of all maintenance work and guarantees your well-maintained bicycle will provide you with the best ride possible! The Giga Bikes Quality check consists of:

  • Testing all rotating and moving parts for the proper amount of lubricant
  • Testing spoke tension and for dents and/or deformation in the rims
  • Testing the adjustment and proper operation of the brakes
  • Testing the gears and gear adjustment
  • Testing all threaded connections
  • Testing that the chain is properly tensioned and lubricated
  • Testing the play on the hubs, headset and bottom bracket
  • Testing that the lights work properly
  • Testing that the lock and key work correctly

You can go to any brand dealer in the Netherlands for guarantee support for the (electric) bicycle you purchased.
And because we think helping our customers is so important at internet-bikes.com, we also have a service centre where you can go for guarantee support, repairs and maintenance. There are three professional mechanics on hand in our service centre to assist you.

WHAT WE OFFER AT OUR SERVICE CENTRE

Because you have made a valuable investment by purchasing a bicycle that you will enjoy for years, proper maintenance is essential. We advise having your bicycle checked at least once per year. In our service centre, this means that we look at all the critical parts so that you can safely use your bicycle. You can opt to do your own maintenance or have it done professionally.

You can come to our service centre for:

  • Scheduled bicycle maintenance and repair.
  • Minor repair jobs (that we can, in consultation, carry out while you wait).
  • Major repair jobs (that we schedule together with you in our workshop).

TEST TRACK AT THE SERVICE CENTRE

For people who want to be able to see and feel the bicycle of their choice in real life before they buy it, Internet-Bikes offers the possibility of trying out bicycles on the test track located behind the service centre. Because the service centre does have every model in stock, it's a good idea to phone in advance to see if the bicycle you want to try out is available. You can also ask our three customer-friendly bicycle experts all your questions and enjoy a cup of coffee!

We pack and ship our orders with the greatest possible care. Therefore, it may occur that smaller items are packed and shipped separately from larger items. In such cases, this may lead to higher shipping costs due to the orders being automatically divided in our warehouse. We always inform you of the final shipping costs in the shopping cart.

In order to ship fully assembled bikes we charge €8,- extra due to the specially designed shipping box which we use to ship you bike safely.

It is possible to deliver small orders within The Netherlands in the evening. We charge € 0,75 for this extra service.

Books with a legally determined retail price will be shipped free of charge within the Netherlands. These books can be recognized by the mention 'free shipping' on the product page.
